Prof. Arumugam
​
Dr. S. Arumugam is currently Senior Professor (Research) and Director, National Centre for Advanced Research in Discrete Mathematics, Kalasalingam University, Tamil Nadu, India. This centre was created with the support of the Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi. Formerly, he was Professor and HoD, Department of Mathematics at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. Currently, he is a visiting Professor at the Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool, UK, and an Adjunct Professor at Ball State University, USA. He was a Conjoint Professor at the University of Newcastle, Australia during 2009-2012. His current area of research is Graph Theory and its Applications. In his academic career spanning 52 years, he has guided 45 candidates for Ph.D. and has published around 270 papers in National and International Journals. He has authored 32 books, including two in Tamil, that are prescribed as textbooks for Under Graduate students in various Indian Universities. He has organized 27 conferences and workshops and has edited 12 proceedings. He is the founder Editor-in-Chief of a SCOPUS indexed journal titled AKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics that is jointly published by Taylor & Francis. He has recently edited a book entitled “Handbook of Graph Theory, Combinatorial Optimization and Algorithm” jointly with K. Thulasiraman, Brandstaedt, and Nishieki which has been published by CRC Press.
Rathnasri G

Coming from a family of illustrious academicians and teachers, Rathnasri is an M Sc from IIT Delhi and an
M Tech (Comp Sc & Engg) from Guru Jambeshwar Univ. She started her career by joining the IT sector, where she specialised in writing programs for automating day to day functions for the service industry. Feeling stifled by working in the IT sector for almost 8 years, she quit it hearing the call of the teacher inside her. She is presently involved in teaching Maths to school and College students.
