C G Sriguha

C G Sriguha, a post graduate in the field of Mass Communication from Univ. of Hyderabad, is also an alumnus of FTII, Pune, having specialised in the aspects of film editing. He is a practising professional in the fields of Mass Communication, Advertising & Media Production. As a director, he has free-lanced with leading Ad agencies in Hyderabad directing many Ad films, Corporate films, Instructional films and motivational films. Films edited by him have won many awards and accolades in the state, the national and international film festivals. He has also been on jury for numerous short filmmaking competitions. He has been actively involved in the academic planning and academic delivery in the positions of Dean/ HOD in prestigious media schools across India like FTII, IFT, Rai University, Manipal Group, SAE colleges, AISFM, Ramoji Academy, etc. He is regularly invited as a guest faculty by Mass Comm/ Vis Comm/ Film Dept at various University and institution involved in teaching filmmaking, film appreciation and animation. He has also been involved as subject expert for seminars and workshops on filmmaking
Ranjith Shankaran

Ranjith sir, as he is called by his innumerable student, started his career as a banker. The hidden storyteller in him made him quit the cushy job to pursue his PG diploma in Cinema from FTII, Pune, specialising in Film Editing. Documentaries and feature films edited by him have won awards in several festivals across the globe. As a director, his films and TV serials have been screened on TV channels. He has also served on the jury panels of film & video festivals at the state as well as the national level. As an academician, he has been associated with many media training institutes as the HOD and the Dean. He is currently based in Hyderabad where he is heading the Creative Science Dept of an International College.
Vivek Badoni

An alumnus of Pune University, with an MA in Mass Communication under his belt, Vivek is an experienced filmmaker based out of Delhi. He started his career in filmmaking as a Post-Production Director in a major Television production house where he supervised the post-production activities for many award-winning Documentaries and Corporate Films. He set up his own production house WSISI FILMS in the year 2001 and since then produced/ directed two in-house films on the Himalayas along with many Corporate/ Online/ Events films for leading companies like Coca–Cola India, Nokia, Reebok, Seagrams, Indiatimes.com, Intercontinental Hotels, and Punjab Tourism. He specializes in producing high quality yet budget-sensitive customized promotional Online videos, web commercials, educational & training videos.

Prof. Harishchandra
​
Prof. Harishchandra, Ph.D., is an internationally renowned academician in the field of Theatre and Makeup. His academic assignments have taken him to work in many International Universities. As an accomplished actor, he can be seen portraying key characters in Feature films, TV Serials, and Web serials made in languages like Telugu, Hindi, English, and Marathi. He is the Managing Trustee for the Rayala Academy of Dramatic Arts, an NGO which is involved in the conservation and propagation of folk forms of performing arts.
Sudhakar Vajjha

Sudhakar Vajjha, an alumnus of FTII, Pune with specialisation in the field of Film Direction, is an award-winning Film director, who has also served on the jury committee for the National Film Festival. He has also worked in the Television medium where he was associated with stalwarts like Arun Kaul, Vishal Bharadwaj, Asha Parekh & Ramoji Rao. As an academician, he has taught subjects like Script & Screenplay writing, Dialogue writing, and Direction for screen, in many media and film training institutes.
Mahesh Muthuswamy

Born into a family that has artistic roots, Mahesh was always drawn towards pursuing a creative career. A mechanical engineer by training, he was working in Pune with a reputed automobile manufacturing concern when he first got introduced to FTII, which he eventually joined for pursuing a course in cinematography. As a professional cinematographer, he has worked in the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu film industry. He prefers working with new and upcoming directors, helping them evolve their own style of filmmaking. Some of his well known works include films like Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjaathey, Nandalala, Mouna Guru (all Tamil), Risk, Alibaba Aur 41 Chor (Hindi), Jabardasth (Telugu) and Chaitra (Marathi).

Arun Rama Varma
​
An alumnus of the FTII, Pune, Arun Rama Varma, is a professional Sound Designer, Sound Recordist, and an excellent Audio Mixing Engineer. He has an experience of more than 15 years of field experience that has taken him to various parts of the country and abroad. A passionate teacher he has shared his knowledge and experiences in premier Institutions like FTII, Pune, SRFTI, Kolkata, ICOM, Malaysia, KRNIVSA, Kottayam, Kerala. His works include films like Enthiran 2.0, English Vinglish, Delhi Belly, Nocturne, The Last Supper, Morrison's Birthday Party, Viola, His father’s voice, etc.
Srinivas Rama Rao

After completing his Post graduation in Mass Communication, Srinivas Rama Rao started his journey on a promising career in the field of Advertising & Corporate filmmaking. But his love for fine arts, made him abandon the field of filmmaking to pursue his hobby of drawing cartoons & caricatures. His passion for sharing his experience saw him teaching school students the art of drawing and sketching. He is presently collaborating with a Bangalore based start up which is into publishing textbooks and books for children.

Krishna Kumar
​
Krish, as he is known to his friends and colleagues, had actually dreamt of a career in the Indian Foreign Service. An accidental meeting with the COO of Times Warner Bros. introduced him to the field of writing. This led him to join a course in Creative writing offered by a leading institute from the UK. He also attended screenwriting workshops conducted by Mr. Robert McKee which sharpened his skills as a script/ screenplay writer. He got a chance from Disney Pictures to develop and write a script for a full-length fantasy feature. He is also involved in writing scripts in Telugu, Hindi & English for leading directors and production houses. He has also been employed as a script doctor vetting scripts for commercial films. He is currently involved in writing a web series for a leading OTT platform.

Vikrant Rai
​
Vikrant Rai, a Mumbai based Cinephile, is an alumnus of FTII holding a Post Graduate Diploma in Cinema with specialisation in Film and TV Production. He has produced Ads, Corporates, Tele Shows and Tele Films for broadcasters like Star TV, ZeeTV, etc. He has a vast experience in the field of Film and TV content distribution. He has been in the past engaged as the Head of Content Syndication for TV channels of Sahara India, Film Acquisition Consultant for Zoom TV and Consultant digital content for Filmfare. As a Producer, he has made films that have been telecast over Hindi GEC Channels. He derives immense pleasure in teaching and has been an Associate Professor teaching Film & TV Production at IFT, Rai University. He has also been a visiting faculty at JICD, New Delhi and ZIMA, Mumbai teaching subjects related Film Production. He is currently heading his own company that deals with the buying and selling of the various rights of the films & TV Serials and also its distribution nationally and internationally.

Rahul Ranadive
​
Rahul Ranadive is a Visual Media Creator and a passionate Teacher professionally engaged for over 30 yrs in making documentaries in India, Nepal and Bangladesh. An alumnus of the AJK Mass Communications Research, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, his Masters Thesis documentary film on the state of the river Yamuna titled “A time to heal” had won many awards and accolades in various National & International Film festivals.He was a member of the core team that started “NEWSTRACK”, the pioneering news magazine on the VHS format produced by India Today and distributed through the local video cassette lending libraries. This unique alternative to Doordarshan was India’s first attempt to challenge the government’s monopoly on factual programming and heralded the first wave of privatisation of News and Entertainment channels. As a producer, Director & Cameraman, he has collaborated with international broadcasters like BBC, Channel 4, ITN, RAI, PBS. His strong belief in the democratisation of media has motivated him to be engaged as a mentor with several rural communities notably in Ladakh, Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh. He is also active as a visiting/ guest faculty teaching subjects related to Photography and Documentary filmmaking at the Graduate & the Post-Graduate level. Currently, he is engaged with the Audio-Visual Documentation of the Wancho tribe of Arunachal Pradesh.

Dr Ajmera Mohan Singh

Dr Ajmera Mohan Singh, PhD, is a Hyderabad based multi-faceted personality with more than 20 years of experience in the fields of Art, Design, Animation, Filmmaking & Education. Starting out as a painter armed with a BFA degree from JNTU College of Fine Arts & Architecture, he was soon attracted to the Printing & Reprographic Industry, where he excelled in the field of creating artistic & specialised artworks. A pronounced artistic sensibility along with the knowledge of media production gained during his post graduation in the field of Mass Communication led him to experiment with Animation when the industry was in its nascent stage in India. The experience he gained in the industry, made him a much sought-after teacher by the various institutions that were involved in teaching Animation & Visual Graphics. He has held senior academic positions in reputed Institutions involved in teaching Animation, Graphics, VFX and filmmaking.

Surekha Abburi
​
Surekha Abburi is journalist with more than fifteen years of experience in the field. She is a graduate in Journalism and having a post-Graduate specialisation in Media Law from NALSAR. She also has a MBA & MPA degrees under her belt. Among her peers, she is admired and respected for impartial coverage and a nose for sniffing out newsworthy issues. She is known to give a human touch to the stories she covers. She is presently the Bureau Chief of Sahar Samay the News Channel of the Sahara TV group. Prior to Sahara, she was working with TV9 News Channel. She has reported not only from Delhi but also has covered the political turmoils in Telangana , Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. For her undaunted reporting of news, she has also been awarded many times, the recent one being the Indywood Media Excellence Award in 2017.
